What can I say? Vespias was the leader of not only her world, but mine as well. She and her tale were my first published book. She was edited by professionals that took the time to show me what I was doing right and what I was doing wrong. She got a new cover and a new hope.

Something happened along the way. She sat there, untouched and alone. Almost as if the life in the pages became the life in reality. The only marketing was what I did myself. Sure, the publisher retweeted, but that's not really marketing is it? No, it isn't.

So now I'll be searching for someone that will do right by Vessy. Her story needs to be told. I did better with her under self-publishing. But a writer can't write and market at the same time. Splitting time between the two does no service to either.

And so the search begins...

The Last Ranger of Sarn

“War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love

the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory.

I love only that which they defend.”
